What your painting quotation should include

Whoever you hire, ask for a written quotation that names every item below. If a quote only gives a lump-sum number, it is hard to compare and hard to hold anyone to.

Which rooms, walls, ceilings and surfaces are included, and what is excluded.
Paint brand and quality, for example Tractor, Premium or Royal emulsion.
Primer, putty and number of coats.
Repairs: cracks, damp patches, old paint scraping.
Furniture covering, masking and final clean-up.
The warranty terms, in writing: what is covered and what is not.

Can I see actual project photos?

Representative photos are fine for ideas, but ask for real work. We share actual project photos on request.

Is primer included?

Primer changes the price and the result. Ask whether the quote is with or without primer.

Who handles seepage?

Painting over damp walls fails. Ask how the contractor treats the source of the dampness first.

What does the warranty cover?

How do I compare two painting quotations?

Put them side by side and check paint brand and quality, primer, putty, number of coats, repairs, and whether clean-up and warranty are written in. A lower price can simply mean less is included.

Should I pay per sq ft or for a fixed package?

Per sq ft suits owners painting a whole home, and fixed packages suit 1, 2 and 3 BHK flats. We offer both, and the final price is confirmed after inspection.

Do you do both interior and exterior painting?
